Description
Manuka essential oil comes from the myrtle family, Myrtaceae, and is native to Australia and New Zealand. Steam distilled from the leaves and stems of the plant, Manuka oil has a woodsy, slightly sweet scent. Manuka essential oil can be compared to Tea Tree essential oil, as Manuka oil benefits the skin in a similar way. Some of the most popular Manuka oil uses include adding it to your favorite skin care products or using it in a foot soak. Manuka essential oil supports the appearance of healthy-looking skin, can help reduce the appearance of blemishes, and can be applied topically to feet or toenails to invigorate tired feet.
